Missing Summer Camp? How to Deal With It

Summer camp alumni will be quick to tell you that most campers spend their time away from their cabins counting down the days until the next season. It’s Their Life (and Ours Is Ours)

Having three adult daughters, I find watching their lives as a parent a wonderful pastime, but one not without its cares. Each is different to the other two. I discovered this basically by accident, by the way of learning something in a way we learn all great things we learn. We cannot forgive unless we feel for the perpetrator who acted against us. We cannot let them off unless we see in ourselves the same propensity to afflict that pain. As they have done, we also are capable. We must see that.
